In reason of this, the wine cellar Tre Secoli can be considered as one of the main actors in the wine industry and the first Piedmontese wine maker of Moscato d'Asti and Brachetto d'Acqui. Tre Secoli is also one of the most important wine makers of Barbera d'Asti.
In addition, we would like to underline that currently over 90% of the production is DOC and DOGC (marks guaranteeing the high quality of a wine whose production respects standards established by law). We produce indeed 4 DOGC wines: Asti, Moscato d’Asti, Brachetto d’Acqui and Barbera d’Asti, two prestigious products such as Barbera d’Asti “Nizza” and “Strevi”, a moscato passito and many DOC wines: Barbera del Monferrato, Dolcetto d’Acqui, Dolcetto d’Asti, Dolcetto di Ovada (which soon will become a DOCG wine), Cortese dell’Alto Monferrato, Piemonte Cortese, Piemonte Chardonnay, Freisa d’Asti, Monferrato Freisa, Piemonte Grignolino, Piemonte Bonarda, Monferrato Bianco. These wines do not represent only a number, rather they display how our investments in wine technologies have created a quality improvement due to constant researches and to an effective marketing strategy (new points of sale, catchy packagings and improved direct contacts with the operators responsible for the bottling process).
Which are the vineyards are we referring to? Barbera, Moscato, Brachetto, Freisa, Dolcetto, Cortese, Chardonnay: these wines come from the seven amazing hills between the Belbo and the Bormida area – the real witnesses of a history long over a century.
