The Logo
The Text
The text Tre Secoli is the strongest and most “mnemonic” element of the logo. It is a powerful reminder thank to the “S” shape. The stroke is in longhand and we chose this font in italics to represent symbolically a style that crossed three centuries without becoming outdated. On the contrary it has maintained its elegance and refinement. In Italian Tre Secoli means three centuries and this is why this font suits perfectly: it expresses our concepts of tradition, prestige and time continuity .
The Sun Image
The graphic symbol representing the sun finds its inspiration in an ancient coin. This coin was issued by the Mantua and Monferrato Dukedom (Ducato di Mantova e del Monferrato). On one side it has been represented the Duke Charles the Second Gonzaga Nevers ( Duca Carlo II Gonzaga Nevers), while on the other side there is the sun symbol. One reads Car II - D - G - Dux Mant (per Mantuae) et Montis Ferrati. The reason we decided to use this coin was to show our deep connection with our territory, the Monferrato area, a land where the wine tradition has grown for many centuries.
